4/15/24 Student Update

Hello Cambridge College Students,

We're zooming into the final stretch of the term! If you're starting to feel the crunch with a heavy writing project like a term paper, Independent Learning Project, or Capstone paper looming ahead, fear not! Our Writing Tutors are here to support your efforts. Here’s how they can sprinkle some magic on your work:

  • Brainstorming: Are you staring at a blank page? Can’t pick a topic? Let's find one that sparks your interest and cook up some sizzling ideas!
  • Idea Workshop: Whether you need to trim down or beef up your topic, we'll help outline and plan a masterpiece.
  • Critical Thinking: Struggling with your assignment or a tricky text? We’ll help you craft a great argument or thesis and back up your views with solid evidence.
  • Research: Ready to dive deep? We'll develop a snazzy research strategy, navigate the Cambridge College Online Library, and round up top-notch sources, including scholarly journals.
  • Revision: Time to shuffle things up and smooth out the transitions. We'll help you to revamp your drafts and polish up your grammar.
  • Citation Station: We can help you master the art of APA style, nail those in-text citations and references, and become a quoting and paraphrasing pro. Plus, we'll decode plagiarism and show you how to steer clear of it.

Let’s make these final weeks as epic as possible! Click here to view the Academic Success Center on MyCC. CC professional tutors provide amazing support to all students in the areas of writing, research, math, statistics, Excel, accounting, understanding the assignment, reading comprehension, and more! If you are unable to attend a tutoring appointment you have made, please cancel the appointment 24 hours before so that other students will have access to that time.
