6/6/22 Student Update

6/6/2022 Academic Affairs Weekly Student Update

Hello Cambridge College Students:

Welcome to the Summer term for regular CC classes! For most of you, classes are starting this week. If you have not yet done so, be sure to log into your course portals to review your course syllabi and locate any course texts.  If your class is running via Zoom, be sure that you have the Zoom link. If you cannot find any of these items, don’t hesitate to reach out to your instructor.

Canvas

Did you know that Cambridge College is using a new learning management system, called Canvas? It was chosen because it is easy to use, mobile-friendly, and collaborative. While you will still use MyCC to register for courses, Canvas will be your online classroom, where you will find your syllabus, course information, lectures, reading assignments, etc. Canvas is also where you will communicate with your instructor and classmates. If you’d like to learn more about Canvas, you can access a video providing an overview here >>.

Grammarly

Cambridge College is committed to student success, so we are continuing to make Grammarly Premium available to all students! All registered CC students should have received an email with a link to set up your Grammarly Premium account 30 days before the start of your classes. If you did not receive the invitation, email tracy.mclaughlin@cambridgecollege.edu.
