Greetings Cambridge College Students:

 

We hope the week is going well and that you are settling into classes. Be sure to keep up with your coursework and attend classes. In addition, keep these reminders and upcoming events in mind:

                       

Health Insurance Waivers

VERY IMPORTANT: If you have your own health insurance and are taking classes in Massachusetts, you will need to complete the health insurance waiver, so you are not charged for the College’s health insurance plan. You must do this by September 30, 2021. For more information, visit this page>>.

 

Fall 2021-2022 Virtual Resource Fair!

 

On Wednesday, September 29th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Cambridge College Support offices will be holding our Fall Virtual Resource Fair.  This will be an opportunity to stop by and learn more about the many resources, offices, and services that are available to support you at Cambridge College. To learn more, click here>>

Laptop Loan Program

If you do not have your own computer to attend class and complete assigned course work, we encourage you to obtain a loaner laptop. For more information or to request a laptop, contact Tracy McLaughlin, Associate Provost, at tracy.mclaughlin@cambridgecollege.edu.

 

Emergency Broadband Benefit Program

A Federal Communications Commission program has provided a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying households. Under the new infrastructure bill that was just passed, this benefit will be expanded as the “Affordable Connectivity Program.”  To learn about eligibility and application options, visit www.GetEmergencyBroadband.org.

 

Digital Literacy Program for Students

The CELT is offering an optional digital literacy program for students, which provides training and practice for building technology skills. This is a great program for building digital literacy. To learn more about the benefits of the program, click here>>.
