This course provides an understanding of the financial requirements needed to manage a small business. Students will learn the elements of financial statement analysis, which reports to analyze, financial planning, capital budgeting, investment management, risk, profitability and forecasting In addition students will learn how to make numbers align with goals, and what questions to ask their accountants to insure the development of strategies that provide optimal tax advantages.
