Description
This course explores ways of using play, activity and arts-based approaches in counseling with children, adolescents, and adults. These active modalities are used in various ways to enact, accelerated, and enhance the counseling process. Teaching and learning methods include guided exploration of a variety of materials and techniques, lectures, discussion, role-plays, media presentations, case studies, individual and group projects, critical reading, and written assignments.
