Description
Examine the range of languages and cultures in the health classroom and how they impact student learning. Students gain the knowledge and skill to develop language and culturally relevant skills-based health/SEL instruction by examining best practices for English learners and racial, sexual, and gender identity models for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Assessments include a mini lesson, analysis of best practices, cultural proficiency assessment, and a key assessment. The course is aligned with MA PSTs
