Description
Prerequisite: HCA 101W. This course includes an overview of medical
law and ethics including types of licenses, medical education, and
professional conduct. It also includes orientation of the requirements
regarding the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
(HIPAA) and the guidelines of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health
Administration) which are mandatory in the medical field.
