Description
Prerequisite: HCA 210W. This course examines state and federal laws
related to the U.S. healthcare system. Topics include an overview of
the legal system, tort law, criminal and fraud issues, contracts and
antitrust, medical staff legal implications, information management,
and reporting and patient’s rights.
