6/19/23 Student Update

Hello Cambridge College Students,

We hope you are doing well and are enjoying your summer classes. Commencement on June 11th was a great success, with hundreds of students graduating and celebrating their accomplishments. If you are in need of inspiration on your way to your degree, here is the link to the recording of the ceremony. You may want to go to 1:10:46 to see the wonderful speeches by our student speakers, Steven Ó Broin and Dynellia Shanta Washington.

Did you know that registration for the Fall term is right around the corner and will be opening on June 30th? Please meet with your academic advisor/success coach soon to discuss the courses you would like to register for.

Are you in need of a laptop?

Laptop computers are essential for student success. If you do not have a dedicated computer, we encourage you to obtain a loaner laptop from the College’s Laptop Loan Program. For more information or to request a laptop, contact Tracy McLaughlin, Associate Provost, at tracy.mclaughlin@cambridgecollege.edu.

The Boston Public Library (BPL) is offering a short-term Device Lending Program for Boston residents. This program provides free access to Chromebooks and Wi-Fi Hotspots to Boston residents. You can sign up for an electronic library card or "eCard” instantly at BPL.org/ecard. The BPL also provides free computer and technology classes to help people use computers and the Internet.
