Greetings Cambridge College Students:

We hope spring classes have started well and that you are settling into the term. If you have any questions or need any support, please be sure to reach out to our offices. Also, keep these items in mind:

 

Coming to Campus

This spring, several classes will be held in person on campus, and some students may choose to come to campus to study or log into class with a strong WiFi signal. If you are coming to campus, you can find the latest COVID-19 protocols on coming to campus on the College’s COVID-19 Update page: https://www.cambridgecollege.edu/covid-19-updates

Laptop Loan Program

Cambridge College is continuing to offer our laptop loan program. If you do not have a reliable computer for your classes or to complete assigned coursework, please reach out to obtain a loaner laptop. For more information or to request a laptop, contact Tracy McLaughlin, Associate Provost, at tracy.mclaughlin@cambridgecollege.edu.

 

CC Community Time

Vera Dimoplon, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, will continue to host monthly Community Time for our CC students and community. Community Time is a chance to share our experiences and build stronger relationships. The next Community Time event will be held on Wednesday, February 2nd, 4:30-5:30 PM EST. Stop by via Zoom to talk about how the term is going and connect with fellow students. bell hooks Tribute Reading and other McCormack Chair Events

bell hooks, prolific author, poet, activist, educator, and trailblazing feminist, passed away on December 15, 2021. The entire Cambridge College community is invited to a celebration of her life and work on Thursday, February 3rd, 6:15-7:15 PM EST via Zoom. If you are interested in reading or speaking at the event, please contact Rebecca Heimel at rebecca.heimel@cambridgecollege.edu.
