12/19/2022 Academic Affairs Weekly Student Update

Hello Cambridge College Students,

This is the final week of classes for most of you, and we hope that you are finishing strong! We wish all of you a relaxing and restoring holiday break and that you get to spend time with those closest to you.

It is not too late to reach out to a tutor if you need assistance with end-of-term assignments or papers. Cambridge College has many professional tutors available, and our Writing Tutors are here to help you with any assignment in any subject that requires writing. For information on how to access academic support, click here>>.

Please join us for one of the following workshops this week:

How to Research Companies & Industries

Tuesday, December 20, 2022, 7:00-8:00 p.m. (ET) via Zoom. Click here to register >>.

Developing your skill at researching companies and industries can pay off in numerous ways. It can help you with your coursework, identify prospective employers, prepare for interviews, and research personal investments. CC Librarian Jeff Cronin will begin with a brief presentation about the different types of companies, e.g., publicly held and privately held. He will then discuss a variety of resources on the web and in databases at the Cambridge College Online Library that provide data and analysis for companies and industries. There will also be an opportunity for questions. If you need any additional information, please contact Jeff Cronin at Jeffrey.Cronin@cambridgecollege.edu.
