9/10/21 Student Update

9/10/2021 Academic Affairs Weekly Student Update

Greetings Cambridge College Students:

Welcome to the start of the fall 2021-2022 term and the first week of classes! If you have not yet registered, you can do so until the add/drop date, which is next Tuesday, September 14th. You can also add or drop classes that have not yet started such as weekend intensives.

Health Insurance Waivers

VERY IMPORTANT: If you have health insurance and are taking classes in Massachusetts, you will need to complete the health insurance waiver so you are not charged for health insurance. You must do this by September 30, 2021. For more information, visit this page>>.

Coming to Campus

If you are planning to come on campus for any of your classes or to access resources or support, be sure to review information about on-campus safety protocols and procedures, including information about how to verify vaccination status using the CastleBranch system, on the College’s Covid-19 response page at https://www.cambridgecollege.edu/covid-19-updates. If you have any questions regarding COVID-19 protocols and procedures when coming to campus, please email COVIDRC@cambridgecollege.edu.

Laptop Loan Program

This year, Cambridge College will continue to offer its laptop loan program. Laptop computers are essential for student success. Students attending classes via Zoom should participate on a laptop as opposed to a phone or other device for a more engaging learning experience. In addition, a laptop makes it easier to write papers and create presentations. If you do not have a dedicated computer, we encourage you to obtain a loaner laptop. For more information or to request a laptop, contact Tracy McLaughlin, Associate Provost, at tracy.mclaughlin@cambridgecollege.edu.
