Description

The practicum is a supervised field experience in which teacher candidates demonstrate proficiency in the Professional Standards for Teachers. The program supervisor and the supervising practitioner collaborate to help the candidate complete the minimum 300 hours, with a minimum of 100 hours of full teaching responsibility. The Practicum Seminar, ESL 791, is taken concurrently with this course. Assessment is aligned with the criteria of the Candidate Assessment of Performance [CAP].
