Description
This course will provide participants with knowledge of government and other agencies/organizations at local, state and federal level available to provide special educators, schools, students with disabilities and their families’ opportunities to access additional resources that support students’ academic success and social emotional well-being. Participants will effectively collaborate with and leverage the support of these “other” agencies using a cooperative interdisciplinary approach. Additionally, addressed is interagency collaboration pertaining to transition law.
