Description

This course will focus on developmentally appropriate anger management and self-regulation skills youth workers can model, communicate and teach to adolescents.

The class will provide students with a basic understanding of the emotion, anger, during the stage of human development known as adolescence. This class will explore root causes of anger and the negative impact it can have on healthy development and interpersonal relationships. Students will learn strategies to assist adolescents in their ability to control and express anger in a healthy pro-social manner.
