Description

This survey course facilitates students’ acquisition of the knowledge of theories and applications in cosmology, evolution, mathematics, life sciences, physics, and religion and science. Students examine the development of these domains of science, how they are converging and informing each other, and gaps in this convergence, which sometimes create contradictions within the various domains. Students explore how science affects social systems at the individual, community, and global level. Special focus is directed towards the pivotal connection between science and culture, and the systemic effects on education, government, domestic and international politics, economics, Healthcare, family and community systems, and religion.
