The 2020 Spring Professional Development Institute builds on the theme “Our Climate, Our Communities.” The foundation of the course rests upon the principles of inquiry-based education addressing the Massachusetts Framework of Science, Technology, and Engineering and other Core Standards, place-based education, and systems thinking. By experiencing these best practices in the climate change education, teachers will develop confidence in integrating climate change concepts into their classrooms and in their learning communities.
