Seasons and Cycles: How Weather Affects Us and WeAffect the Weather will offer educators the opportunity to explore real-world phenomena through hands-on, minds-on investigations, live discussion, virtual site-visits and small group work using Zoom and Schoology.
Educators will integrate the theory and practice of inquiry-based education with the Science and Engineering Practices and make connections across disciplinary core ideas in science. Working with educators from EcoTarium, Blue Hill Observatory & Science Center, andthe GLOBE project, teachers will explore seasons, cycles, and weather. They will develop a standards-aligned unit plan and inquiry-based investigations appropriate for their teaching
