Description

2021 Wade Institute Remote Professional Development Institute offers educators experiences that integrate inquiry-based pedagogy, science and engineering practices, science content, and other core disciplines, in a remote learning setting. The goals of the institute are to increase science content knowledge by connecting teachersto experts in the field (scientists, research laboratories, engineers, etc.); to providein-depth, standards-driven experiences that support the use of inquiry-based instruction; andto connect participants with a network of STEM professionals and resources. Through this institute, participants will experience and learn how to create their own inquiry-based investigations that strengthen their teaching of the disciplines in both classroom and remote settings.
